Civil Air Patrol Chaplain Opportunity

The Civil Air Patrol is an all-volunteer, Air Force Auxiliary. Our three missions include: Cadet Programs, Emergency Services, and Aerospace Education. We are proud of the Volunteer Chaplain Service we provide. However, we are looking for Chaplains to serve our units in Columbus, Jackson, the Gulf Coast, Northwest Mississippi, Oxford, and Vicksburg.
 
            To become a CAP Chaplain, the individual must meet the following requirements:
 
            A. Possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.*
            B. Have an earned Master’s degree in Religion, Counseling or Social Work (72 hours). This also must be from an accredited institution.*
            C. Be endorsed by your Denominational Chaplain Support Office.
            D. Both veterans and non-veterans may apply! All genders are welcome!
 
*Accreditation must be from an institution listed by a regional educational accreditation organization (I.E.: SACS) and the Association of Theological Schools.
