What a wonderful opportunity awaits you as the Lay Leader for your church!  The Starkville District is hosting a gathering for all our lay leaders on June 18th at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Starkville.  The church is located at (820 Evergreen Street).  Keynote speaker is LaToya Thompson, Mississippi Conference Lay Leader.  You definitely don’t want to miss seeing and hearing her in person!
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the Opening Session starts at 9:00 a.m.  Alberta Hendrix is co-hosting this event with me.  She will share her purpose in leadership as District Coordinator of Lay Servant Ministry.
This gathering also has some extra special events.  Paul Swain, a professional entertainer from Columbus and Covenant UMC, will bring spiritual blessings in song.  Lunch will be provided FREE at noon provided you preregister by Wednesday, June 15 at Noon.  And then, drawings will be held for three exciting gifts!
Looking forward to seeing you at this gathering designed just for YOU!
